This week my boss and I traveled to Ypsilanti, Michigan, right outside of Ann Arbor (where University of Michigan is located). The ABB #PowerBetter trailer was utilized at the National Training Institute for the Electrical Training Alliance, hosting apprentices and trainers at the event.

Key Takeaway: It can be helpful to take charge and delegate roles when necessary to be quick and efficient. We had a massive rush of people wanting to enter the trailer at once, and had to scan their badges while also doing crowd control and showing them through the trailer. We decided on different roles for each of us to keep the line moving while still allowing each group the chance to tour the trailer.

Favorite Food: We had an incredible steak dinner at The Chop House in downtown Ann Arbor. I had surf and turf as my meal, and it was absolutely delicious. Afterwards, we enjoyed ourselves walking down the street stopping in record stores and gift boutiques. This area had so many restaurants and shops, and had such a cute vibe to it, making it an enjoyable dinner.

Highlight: This one was easy. I got the chance to see Jason Mraz at a cool outdoor venue sitting in the third row for his Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride tour! He was an amazing live performer with the most incredible band, and they were all so enjoyable to watch. He has such fun music and encourages very positive vibes at his concert, putting on a really great show.
