Dallas, TX

January 22-27, 2023

I traveled with the road show truck to Dallas, Texas for a week of trainings for the ABB services department. This was my first event as the Road Show Project Manager, where I get to coordinate and manage the events that the truck accompanies.

Key Takeaway: While the event was an overall success, there were quite a few unusual problems that suddenly arose. These hiccups added some stress and had to be resolved immediately. From this, I learned that almost all crises can be worked through and managed, and it’s important to not let the stress take over and ruin anything.

Favorite Food: We were able to eat lunch at a Texas Staple, Hard Eight BBQ. Here I got some smoked brisket and sausage, with a side of Jalapeño cream corn. The atmosphere, food, and fellowing aromas were all incredible, making this a must-go if you are in the area.
